Blazing Gloriously Like A Mountain of Gold:
Seating the Lotus Garden Buddha
Preparing the Sog-Shing
During the 2009 Shedra program Venerable Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche arrived from Finland to assist with activities related to filling the Buddha. Rinpoche worked with the residents to create the sog-shing (life-force tree), which will eventually be enclosed within the Buddha. The sog-shing will run inside the body of the Buddha and will be engraved and carved with all the traditional mantras and symbols.
